The restaurant is Fiorito Bistrot, the day is the eighth of February, and we meet at eight in the evening.

Three of the most prestigious wineries on the Italian scene will present their wines through a journey in the glass. We’ll start with the Asolo Prosecco from Villa Giustiniani, then move to Friuli with the celebrated white wines of Rocca Bernarda, before arriving in Veneto to taste the nobility of Valpolicella and its majesty, the Amarone from Fumanelli.

But the journey won’t end in Valpolicella: with a leap back, we’ll return to Friuli at Rocca Bernarda to taste the legendary Picolit. Picolit is a rare and legendary wine whose roots go back to Roman times, and which finds its true home at Rocca Bernarda.

The food pairings have been designed and calibrated by the Fiorito chef.

A kaleidoscope of small starters, fettuccine with guanciale and artichokes, amatriciana, beef cheek braised in Amarone, together with Marco’s private selection of cheeses brought out exceptionally for the Picolit, will accompany the wine on this unmissable culinary journey.
