We are extremely proud to announce that two of our Villa Giustiniani proseccos have been awarded at the Falstaff Prosecco Trophy 2023. This prestigious accolade celebrates the finest proseccos in the world, and we are honoured to be part of this illustrious list.
Our 2022 Villa Giustiniani Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut received an impressive score of 90. Tasted on 21 April 2023 by Othmar Kiem and Simon Staffler, it was described as a prosecco with a bright silvery colour and a persistent perlage. On the nose, it shows notes of ripe pear and green apple, accompanied by a delicate hint of citrus. On the palate, it stands out for its abundant perlage, bright fruit and a juicy character, culminating in a subtle bitter note.
Even more impressive, our 2022 Villa Giustiniani Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry received an exceptional score of 92. Also tasted on 21 April 2023 by Othmar Kiem and Simon Staffler, it was described as a prosecco with a sparkling silvery colour and a persistent perlage. On the nose, it offers a fresh, fragrant aroma of white flowers, fresh peach and a light note of toasted hazelnut, enriched by a touch of candied lemon zest. On the palate, it is balanced and harmonious, with unmatched clarity and freshness, alongside a perfectly balanced sweetness and good length.
These accolades are the result of our unwavering dedication to producing high-quality prosecco. We are extremely grateful for the appreciation and recognition of our efforts.
