Description
The story
Black was the colour of the Knights of Malta even before red. From the very beginning, the brethren of the Hospital of Jerusalem wore a full black robe with a white cross over the heart.
It was the colour of charity, of assistance, of service to those in need. Only later was red added, for the military defence of the Faith.
Two colours, two vocations: care and courage. The red that bears this name is born at Castello di Magione from Gamay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
In production since 2007. Around 6,600 bottles.
